Extract Web Design to the directory you will be
using it from because there are several files it
will look for in that directory.
Use the HELP key to access AmigaGuide docs while
using v1.4.
v1.4 allows the user to preview document changes
by clicking the new preview button. The Go Configure
screen allows the user to select the path for the
browser or browsers that are used for previewing.
The path to where docs and images etc is also set
on this screen. Settings are saved if they are used.
I have found Ibrowse 1.1 works best at this time for
preview but AWeb and Voyager can also be used.
I have found that AWeb works best if loaded at the
Go Configure screen or it doesn't show your document
the first time preview is used. After going back to
Web Design and doing preview a second time AWeb loads
the changes each time. I have tried many ways around
this problem but haven't found the answer yet.
Both Ibrowse and AWeb auto reload so the new changes
are shown but I couldn't get Voyager to reload so you
will need to click the Reload button in Voyager to see
the new changes.
F6 does the same thing the preview button does and
F7 takes you back to the Web Design screen. Sometimes
this doesn't work the first time the browser is loaded.
I have Ibrowse and AWeb screens shrunk down so I can
access the screens I have them on making it is easy to
click between screens while Voyager works for me without
doing this. If all else fails RIGHT and LEFT AMIGA keys
plus m will get you back to Web Design.
You are free to try new ideas without overwriting the
current version of your document because the preview
is a separate file and does not change the current version
of your document until you actually Save the changes.
This is the reason for the doc path config.
I recommend using SaveAs because sometimes preview causes
Web Design to forget what file you are working with but
SaveAs keeps track of things.

It is now easier to make changes to font color and
size. It is no longer necesary to delete previous
settings. This also is true with BODY settings for
text colors and background color.

Watch for updates and helpful hints on my home page.

I have docs in HTML format online as well as in
AmigaGuide format for downloading.
I have also made it possible now to press the HELP
key for online help while using Web Design.
